Adam und Harborth
Jörg Adam and Dominik Harborth founded their design studio in 1998 in Berlin. With their project "Helfershelfer - Second Aid" they became known to a broad audience - far above the design scene. The related exhibition was shown in known museums and galeries in Stuttgart, Berlin, Bremen, Solingen, and latest in mu.dac - Musée de design et d'arts appliqués contemporains in Lausanne and during the "Deutschen Kulturwochen" in Johannesburg, Southafrica. The english translation of their book (Second Aid - Doorstops, drip-catchers and other symbiotic gadgets) relating to the exhibitons is published at avedition.
Both designers developed successfully very individual single designs and after a while they progressed into full product collections for national and international labels.
Their designs were shown 2008 at the MoMa - Store of the Museum of Modern Art and the New York Times stated their "Mozartkugel" as a must-have.
